Yeah for Baby Einstein!!

Thanks to Baby Einstein DVDs I can get ready in the morning if we have to be somewhere, do a quick clean up around the house or take a snort snooze with Owen on my lap. I did not realize the power that these held until a few months ago. With his mouth open wide (like many males and TV) Owen is completely transfixed when these videos are on. Not that I allow him to watch these 24/7 but it is a nice 30 minute break during the day (somedays it takes all my willpower not to allow him to watch more than one). What would I do without them??

You do what ya gotta do! It could be worse...I used to make mine come inside during the summer and watch an episode of ScoobyDoo in the afternoon to take a break from the outdoor heat and rest! Baby Einstein sounds more intellectual than ScoobySnaks!

AAAAHHH, the great electronic babysitter!!! What would we do without her?

That's hilarious!! Seriously, it really is nice when they finally have the attention span to sit through a 30 minute video!

Did you mean SHORT snooze, or do you really take a SNORT snooze?

Whoops! I meant short snooze. Obviously, you have not read my very first post about how I am NOT a writer! I read through my post and do not even check those things. :) I wonder how many things Dee and Charity could find wrong with my posts. That is not an invitation! I really do not want to know!

I was just posting on your blog the same time you posted on mine! That is funny!

relax - i don't critique your blogs. it's just the language teacher in me who often notices errors that others don't.

besides, we all make those typos...

your was just FUNNY as i tried to picture you snorting away with Owen on your lap ;)

i received an email once from a friend who was talking about making tye-dyed shirts, but she left the "r" out. At least you didn't make that typo! :-)

I have wondered many times what on earth people did with their kids before the days of PBS and Baby Einstein. (and dishwashers and vacuum cleaners and washing machines and computers . . . )

how is poor little owen? did he need stitches?

Nope! He just got his skinned glued together. I had no idea that was even something they did. I emailed you on your parent's account. Check it out!

:) I know when I've babysat, they sometimes were the only thing that could stop little ones from crying. They're like magic :) You're little Owen is so so cute!
